How much silicone sealant do you need for your next project?

For an average .25” x .25 inch joint, a 1oz tube of silicone sealant will cover about 29 linear inches. If your needs are a bit different, then this formula can help, as long as you are willing to do a bit of metric conversion:

(Size of the tube in ml) / (width of the joint in mm) x (depth of the joint in mm) = linear meters covered per tube.
